The National Walk for Epilepsy is extremely grateful for the thousands of volunteers that have given tirelessly each year to make it a successful and memorable event. By getting involved, you become vital to our mission to make a difference in the lives of millions.

Day of Event Volunteers

We count on our Day of Event volunteers to ensure a successful National Walk for Epilepsy experience. Volunteer opportunities include:

Kids’ Tent

Assist with Kids’ activities such as face painting, arts and crafts, and games

Chick-fil-A Tent

Assist at the Chick-fil-A tent to hand out sandwiches to walkers

Food and Water Distribution

Assist handing out refreshments and water to all walkers at different points within Walkers Village

T Shirt Tent

Distribution of T shirts to walkers and answer general Walk questions

Information Tent

Assist walkers to obtain information and answer general Walk questions

Water Stations on Walk Course

Assist on the Walk course with water distribution  

Start Line

Assist in gathering walkers to the start line

Finish Line

Cheer on walkers as they cross the finish line and direct them to the food and water in Walkers village

Ask The Experts

Assist with the Ask the Experts panel – gathering questions, etc

Volunteer Tent

Assist with check in of other volunteers and answer general Walk questions

Donation Tent

Receive onsite donations, provide forms and general information to walkers

Epilepsy Foundation’s Information and Resource Tent

Assist with handing out foundation information and resources to walkers
