The Epilepsy Foundation kicked off its bicoastal Walk to End Epilepsy and it is steadily growing nationwide. As we all know, the fight to End Epilepsy starts with us – determined and resilient individuals and families. So, despite our different types of epilepsies and challenges – let’s walk together to End Epilepsy. Share with family and friends in other areas of the country so they can get involved and find a Walk to End Epilepsy or an Epilepsy Foundation in their region. Click here to learn more.
On Saturday, April 27, 2019 our National #EpilepsyWalk for awareness and fundraising will take place on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Walker’s Village will at the Smithsonian National Mall metro station. Use the #EpilepsyWalk and #WalkToEndEpilepsy hashtags to share your story and raise money for services for people living with epilepsy, training on proper seizure recognition and first aid, advocacy to ensure health care options remain strong for people living with seizures, and research for better treatments and cures.
